Of course you haven't!
So here's the new feeder arrangement in a non-boundary-bursting photograph (click for big). The thistle sock is off to the right in the Dogwood tree. So far, nobody's gone for it, though it's not for lack of trying on the part of the House Sparrows. And putting the feeder out in the middle of the yard, well away from the hedge, has not discouraged the sparrows one bit. Oh well. I at least got to list a nuthatch.
And then this squirrel showed up.
As soon as I saw him limping around, I knew something was up. It's hard to see in the photo, but it looks like something took a bite out of his shoulder. Otherwise he's fine.
